Repair & Restoration

We approach restoration with great sympathy and enthusiasm. The volumes that come into the studio have been well loved therefore well used: personal and family Bibles, prayer books, cookbooks, and children’s books. Our goal is to make repairs with proven methods and materials that will help the book last and preserve its original character. 

Treatments vary depending on a book's condition. The most common work we do in restoration includes: spine repair (reback), cover repair, leather treatment, page repair, and rebinding.
