He sent it to the BD and it was repaired where you could not even tell that had happened. One month later, his wife called, she had a family poetry book she was planning on giving to her son. The same dog chewed off the back cover and spine. He also enjoyed several pages. She was panicking. After asking what kind of book eating dog this was, a weenie dog, I told her it is not totally the dogs fault. There is an animal glue used on the spines of old books that attracts dogs, cats, mice, bugs, etc. The dog is attracted by the glue then just gets a little carried away. The book dr. made a new back cover and spine, filled in all the pages the dog had chewed (fortunately he didn't get any text) and put it all back together. |
